In Downtown Walnut Creek
Spooktacular Stroll is a free event for children and families in our community. Trick-or-treaters will receive a map of participating businesses at the starting location, visit sponsor booths, take part in fun activities, and proceed to downtown storefronts to collect Halloween candy.
We are thrilled to announce many exciting additions to one of our most anticipated events of the year. Spooktacular Stroll will have many activities including:
- Face painting
- Selfie stations with goblins and ghosts throughout downtown
- Kids Halloween crafts
- Games and prizes
- Pumpkin Coloring Contest
Event Information:
- Begin your afternoon of fun at the starting location (TBD) to pick up an event map of participating businesses that are giving out candy/treats
- The first 1,000 trick-or-treaters will receive a complimentary reusable trick-or-treat bag.
- Trick or treating and activities at this event are for children 12 and under only. Parents must accompany children under 10 years of age during the event.
- PARKING: 3 hours of FREE parking at the Broadway Plaza parking garage (entrances on S. Broadway and Newell Ave.).


Come dressed in your Halloween costume and get into the spooky spirit with your family.


2023 Spooktacular Stroll Registration is Open!
Help support the longest running downtown Halloween event in Walnut Creek. An average of 1,000 children come out to participate in this fun and safe activity. This is an excellent opportunity for your business to participate in an amazing community gathering and be recognized as a Walnut Creek Community Partner.
