Our Board and Committee Meetings are open to the public. Below is a summary of the meeting schedules:

 

Board of Directors Meeting

Responsible for the governance, direction, policies, budgets, and positions of Walnut Creek Downtown. Meets 2nd Wednesday of every other month at 4:00pm.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, October 10, 2022.

Wellness Alliance

Our Mission is for all Health & Wellness business owners/operators to collaborate and define innovative approaches to elevating Wellness in Walnut Creek. Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every other month (bi-monthly) at 9:00am. Click here for the Zoom meeting link.

Arts Alliance

An ad-hoc group that meets the first Friday of every month, 9a-10a, to create, support and steward programs and events that enhance the artistic, aesthetic, and cultural quality of life in downtown Walnut Creek. Please contact,  Kathy Hemmenway at Kathy@walnutcreekdowntown.com.

Restaurant/Bar/WCPD 

3rd Thursday of every other month from 10:30am-11:30am; contact Kathy Hemmenway for details.

Retail Alliance

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesdays of every other month from 3-4pm (currently via Zoom, click here to join).  The task force develops recommendations to help strengthen retail offerings downtown. Topics include current retail trends, key demographic indicators, rents, vacancy levels, retail mix, and zoning regulations to strengthen and preserve retail in the downtown.

Ice Rink Committee

(not a standing committee)
A joint effort with the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce to organize the downtown ice rink for the winter season. Contact WCD for a current meeting schedule.
