Season Extended Through January 23, 2022

The ice-skating tradition returns to Civic Park. Now in its 16th season, WCOI is one of California’s largest outdoor ice-skating rinks boasting an action packed 80’x100’of skating surface. This seasonal winter wonderland, with its dramatic tenting, festive decorations, and holiday music set against the backdrop of beautiful Civic Park, is just steps away from the East Bay’s premier shopping and dining. Our webinars/seminars ensure our members stay current with industry trends and offer professional development for new and seasoned professionals. Recent topics have included Economic Resiliency, How to Use Instagram and Facebook to Drive Business, Mental Health in the Workplace, How to Navigate Americans with Disabilities Act, and a Virtual Townhall with city officials and downtown businesses.  We are planning the calendar for 2022 WCD Webinar Series so please check back. Oktoberfest 2022

October 15th, 2022

Autumn has officially arrived and that means Oktoberfest time. Practice your polka, join us in the biergarten, or on the dance floor for another epic Oktoberfest in Walnut Creek. It’s a great place to show off your dirndl dress or don the lederhosen (not mandatory!). This is one of Walnut Creek’s most popular events. This ADMISSION FREE, day-long, family-friendly event recreates the beloved German fall celebration and includes plenty of German food, a performance by traditional dancers, plus beer and wine. Prost!

Trick-or-Treat October 2022

October 28th, 2022

Calling all ghouls, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and witches. Walnut Creek invites you and your little ones to trick-or-treat downtown at participating businesses. This annual tradition is an ADMISSION FREE event. Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume and get into the spooky spirit with your family. Children 12 and under only. Parents must accompany children under 10 years of age during the event.
