This annual event offers attendees a variety of wine tastings and food bites as they stroll through the many unique boutiques and restaurants that make downtown Walnut Creek such a popular and evolving destination. Walnut Creek Uncorked also features live music played by local musicians on the city sidewalks and plazas.

Arts Around August
See you in August of 2023!
Arts Around August, in its 2nd year, is a month-long celebration of the performing, visual and culinary arts in downtown Walnut Creek. Events and activities are planned throughout the month of August, including experiences for both families and adults like Summer Concerts at Broadway Plaza, First Wednesday Street Faire with live band and a 2nd stage with Diablo Symphony Orchestra, Downtown Stages, Moveable Feasts, Family Day at the Lesher Center, Pop-up Opera performances and many more activities!
Oktoberfest
Join us on October 13th AND 14th 2023!
Autumn has officially arrived and that means Oktoberfest time. Practice your polka, join us in the biergarten, or on the dance floor for another epic Oktoberfest in Walnut Creek. It’s a great place to show off your dirndl dress or don the lederhosen (not mandatory!). This is one of Walnut Creek’s most popular events. This year by demand we have expanded Oktoberfest, now for two days. Friday night kicks off the party with entertainment, silent disco and more. Saturday will continue the party to include many family-friendly activities. Walnut Creek Oktoberfest recreates the beloved German fall celebration and includes plenty of German food, a performance by traditional dancers, plus beer and wine. Prost!
Trick-or-Treat
Returning for Spooktacular Surprises in 2023!
Calling all ghouls, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and witches. Walnut Creek invites you and your little ones to trick-or-treat downtown at participating businesses. This annual tradition is an ADMISSION FREE event. Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume and get into the spooky spirit with your family. Children 12 and under only. Parents must accompany children under 10 years of age during the event.
Walnut Creek on Ice
November 2023 - January 2024
Twinkling lights, holiday smiles, crisp winter evenings and frosty ice under your skates are some of the amazing experiences you’ll find at Walnut Creek on Ice. Next season, the tradition returns to Civic Park for it's 18th year from November 2023 through January 2024.

Join us at Rotator Taproom for a car show, with your furry friends!
WCD and Rotator Taproom have joined forces to bring the people what they want - Classic Cars, Dogs, and Beer. Come down every Sunday from February to May for Cars & Coffee to get to know the community. Then, join us on May 21st for the Classic Car Show! And of course... don't forget your dog!
