Arts Around August in Walnut Creek

Arts Around August, in its 2nd year, is a month-long celebration of the performing, visual and culinary arts in downtown Walnut Creek. Events and activities are planned throughout the month of August, including experiences for both families and adults like Summer Concerts at Broadway Plaza, First Wednesday Street Faire with live band and a 2nd stage with Diablo Symphony Orchestra, Downtown Stages, Moveable Feasts, Family Day at the Lesher Center, Pop-up Opera performances and many more activities!

Banner Adoption Program

Banners will be flown along the core downtown streets from Civic Dr. to Botelho Drive, California Blvd. to N. Main Street, and along Broadway Plaza for 5 weeks (July 25-September 1). Sponsors will have their name printed at the bottom of the 24”x54” banner, showing your support for the arts and downtown business community.

First Wednesday Street Fair Live music, food booths, vendors, entertainment Aug. 3
