The Do's & Dont's
Attendees who purchase drink tickets must be 21 years of age or older and must present a valid ID to redeem presale tickets or to purchase tickets at the event. Walnut Creek Oktoberfest is a drink responsibly event and reserves the right to regulate and/or stop serving individuals. Walnut Creek Downtown Association thanks you in advance for drinking responsibly and encourages all attendees to arrange a designated driver or take BART or use rideshare services.
There's no better place to show off your dirndl dress or don the lederhosen (not mandatory, but recommended). We encourage you to dress in your best Oktoberfest attire and join the festivities as we recreate the beloved German fall celebration in the heart of Walnut Creek.
No outside food or alcohol are allowed. In compliance with the City of Walnut Creek ordinance, Civic Park is a non-smoking space. All weapons and drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Dogs must be well-behaved and must be on a 6ft leash or shorter, at all times. We reserve the right to ask any dog to be removed from the event.
