Where is Oktoberfest located?
Walnut Creek Oktoberfest is located in Civic Park East, Walnut Creek.
MAIN ENTRANCE: 1375 Civic Drive
To enter from the Main Civic Park entrance, use the address listed above & cross over the bridge from the parking lot. Limited event parking is available in the Main Civic Park lot. Please use this address for rideshare pickup & drop-off.
BACK ENTRANCE: 1761 Carmel Drive
EVENT PARKING LOT: 1111 Civic Drive (Mechanic's Bank Parking Lot)

How do I sign-up to volunteer?
Whether you're helping with setup, selling tickets, pouring beer and wine, or ensuring the festivities run smoothly, your efforts will play a crucial role in making this year's Oktoberfest truly spectacular. Join us in spreading the joy of Oktoberfest – sign up today!
21 and older volunteers will receive an Oktoberfest glass or drink ticket. Under 21 will receive a ticket for a brat sandwich on-site.
What forms of payment are accepted at the event?
ALL TICKET BOOTHS ARE CASHLESS!
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and apple pay at each of the ticket booths but NO CASH. All tickets and parking can be purchased on-site.
Craft & food vendors have their own payment processing systems and most accept credit cards.
How do I get to and from the event?
EVENT PARKING:
Event parking is available for $10 (cash or card) at 1111 Civic Drive (entrance is located off Arroyo Way). The parking lot will open 30 minutes before the event begins.
Limited parking is available at Civic Park. Street parking is available at surrounding metered parking spaces within the downtown. There are 2 nearby parking garages: North Broadway Garage and Lesher Center Garage.
OKTOBERFEST IS BARTABLE!
We strongly encourage using public transportation. Hop on and off at the Walnut Creek Bart Station, less than a 10 minute walk from the event. Click here to plan your visit.
BIKE VALET
Oktoberfest is conveniently located next to the Ironhorse Trail. Free Valet Bicycle Parking is provided by Bike Concord. Find the bike valet booth at the entrance next to the bridge from Civic Park.
RIDESHARE DROPOFF
Ride-share options like taxis, Uber, and Lyft, or friends are terrific ways to get to the event and to get home safe after. The best place to get dropped off is: 1375 Civic Drive (dropoff in the parking lot, walk across the bridge & you're there!)
Are dogs allowed?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your well-behaved dogs & be sure to visit our Bark Lounge at Oktoberfest for treats, pet vendors, & more.
Please keep dogs on leash and in control at all times. Be sure to bring water & pet waste bags and dispose of all waste properly.
Will photos or videos be taken at the event?
By attending or participating in Walnut Creek Oktoberfest, you acknowledge that Walnut Creek Downtown and its event partners may capture and use photos or videos taken during the event. This includes content of individuals, booths, or businesses, as well as publicly shared posts, for promotional purposes across digital and print platforms. Is this event a fundraiser?
Yes! Proceeds from this event help the Walnut Creek Downtown Association accomplish its goals and objectives of keeping the downtown district economically sustainable and thriving for businesses, community members, and visitors.
