Event Success Guide for Participating Businesses



Downtown Wellness Stop

Be a featured stop along the Momentum Walnut Creek wellness stroll. Participating businesses host guests inside their location as part of the walkable downtown route. This option is ideal for fitness studios, wellness providers, retailers, restaurants, and service based businesses looking to create meaningful, in person connections with attendees. Businesses in this category must be located within the Event Boundaries (see map).

As a participating business, you will:

  • Be included as an official stop on the event map
  • Host guests inside your space throughout the even
  • Provide a hydration station and/or fueling station
  • Offer a wellness focused activation or experience

Starting Location Booths

Have an opportunity to meet every guest at the start of their Momentum experience. 

Businesses that are unable to host guests at their own location or are outside of the event boundaries may participate with a booth or table at the starting location. This area serves as the central gathering point where all attendees check in before beginning their stroll.

As a starting location business, you will:

  • Have a booth at the event starting location
  • Engage directly with attendees during check in and gathering
  • Share information, samples, or experiences in a centralized setting

Pop-Up Vendor

Showcase your brand, products, or offerings at the heart of the event. Pop up vendors are located at the starting location or paired with select downtown businesses and are ideal for product based businesses, sampling focused brands, and wellness retailers looking to connect with attendees in a simple, high impact way.

As a pop-up vendor, you will:

  • Have a table at the starting location
  • Engage with guests as they arrive and prepare for their stroll
  • Share samples and/or sell products directly with attendees

Tasting Partner

Collaborate with a participating business to create a shared experience. Tasting partners are businesses located outside of the downtown who want an opportunity to share samples of their products with event attendees.

This option encourages collaboration and allows brands to participate without needing their own physical space on the route. WCD will pair partners with participating businesses. Please note that this is a limited opportunity and only available for a select number of spots.

As a visiting partner, you will:

  • Be paired with and hosted by an on route participating business
  • Provide tastings, samples, or experiences inside the host location
  • Be listed alongside the host business on the event map
