Momentum Walnut Creek is a ticketed downtown wellness experience featuring a walkable route of local fitness, wellness, and health focused businesses.

How the Event Works

Momentum is designed to be flexible and self-paced. After checking in, guests will follow the event map and stroll through downtown, visiting participating businesses along the route. Guests may visit stops in any order and are welcome to explore at their own pace during the event hours.

Each participating business will offer a wellness focused activation, which may include:

  • Fitness and movement demonstrations
  • Self-care and rejuvenation experiences
  • Healthy food bites and beverage samples
  • Educational moments and exclusive offers

March Wellness Month

Momentum Walnut Creek kicks off a month-long celebration of wellness in Walnut Creek Downtown throughout March. Following the event, ticket holders may receive access to additional wellness opportunities hosted by participating businesses throughout the month. Additional details will be shared throughout and after the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get tickets?

Tickets are sold online before the event. We highly recommend buying early, as the event may sell out. A limited number of tickets may be available on-site but day-of tickets are not guaranteed. 

What should I wear and bring to the event?

To make the most of your Momentum experience, we recommend bringing:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Active or casual attire you can move in
  • A reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses if the weather is warm

Momentum is designed to be active but approachable, so come ready to move at your own comfort level.

Can I bring my kids?

Children and strollers are allowed, but kids must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Keep in mind, many participating businesses have limited space, so be cautious with strollers indoors.

Can I bring my dog?

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in outdoor areas and at the starting location. However, entry into individual businesses is subject to their rules and some may not allow pets indoors.

Will there be food?

Yes, select tasting stops will have small bites. However, these are limited and not full meals, so we strongly recommend dining before or after the event at one of our amazing downtown restaurants. 

Will photos or videos be taken at the event?

By attending or participating in Momentum Walnut Creek, you acknowledge that Walnut Creek Downtown and its event partners may capture and use photos or videos taken during the event. This includes content of individuals, booths, or businesses, as well as publicly shared posts, for promotional purposes across digital and print platforms. No additional permissions or compensation will be provided. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

What’s your refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable if you're unable to attend.

Momentum Walnut Creek is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather or unexpected circumstances, updates will be shared to all ticketholders and will be posted on the Walnut Creek Downtown website and social media channels.
