Join us on Friday, November 21 at 5:30pm in Civic Park (1375 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek). Enjoy complimentary hot cocoa provided by Walnut Creek Downtown, listen to joyful carolers, and watch as the park comes alive when the holiday tree sparkles to life.
Plus, don’t miss a special Meet & Greet with Frosty the Snowman to celebrate the opening night of Walnut Creek on Ice, just a few steps away in Civic Park!
This event is free and open to the public, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun and share in the spirit of the season. Together, we’re lighting up downtown with festive decorations, sparkling lights, and holiday magic all season long.

Littles Skate Sugar & Skates with Chip Cookies Walnut Creek

We’re serving up sweet memories on ice! Join us for Sugar & Skates, a special Littles Skate morning where your tiny twirler (5 and under) can glide, giggle, and then get cookie creative with our friends from Chip Cookies Walnut Creek.
It’s the perfect combo of frosting and frost, because nothing beats a little sugar, smiles, and skates to kick off the holiday season.

It’s part skating, part dance party, and all fun. This is the perfect way to let your tiny twirler’s rhythm shine while you make memories together.

Skate on the Wild Side with Lindsay Wildlife Experience

Join us for a special Littles Skate session where your tiny skater (5 and under) can glide, giggle, and get up close with the amazing animal ambassadors from Lindsay Wildlife Experience. Little ones can enjoy free animal masks and headbands before meeting Lindsay’s furry, feathered, and scaly friends in person. It’s a magical mix of skating fun and wildlife wonder—perfect for curious minds and wobbly feet.
