A spring tea workshop exploring Elderberry, inner‑child curiosity, and playful herbal tea blending to welcome the season with wonder.
A March tea workshop centered on the inner child and the playful spirit of spring.
March arrives with a quiet shift in the seasons. The days stretch a little longer, the earth begins to soften, and signs of life start appearing again. Spring often awakens a sense of curiosity and imagination that many of us remember from childhood. The instinct to wander outside, pick things up, ask questions, and make small creations from the plants around us.
In many ways, we were herbalists long before we knew the word for it.
This workshop invites you to reconnect with that playful, curious relationship with plants through the ritual of tea and intentional presence. Together we’ll explore the idea of the inner child as the part of us that still knows how to wonder, experiment, and meet the natural world with openness.
Our focus plant for the evening is Elderberry. Sweet, dark berries that have long been used in herbal traditions and are surrounded by rich folklore about the elder tree and its place near the home. We’ll spend time with this plant through tea, conversation, and story, allowing its character to unfold as we gather together.
You’ll craft your own personalized tea blend from a thoughtfully curated selection of herbs, guided by curiosity and intention. Each participant will name their tea as a way of honoring the qualities they want to welcome this spring, and the relationship they are building with their inner child.
Please bring a journal for reflection and a small item for the community altar such as a flower, stone, or small object that reminds you of childhood, curiosity, or the season of spring.
✨ This workshop is open to all. Whether you’re new to herbalism or already in relationship with plants, you’ll leave with a deeper connection to Elderberry, a custom tea blend to take home, and a renewed sense of curiosity as we welcome spring together.
