A spring tea workshop focused on nervous system nourishment, the medicine of Oatstraw, and opening our hearts to receive the season's fullness.

By May, the frantic energy of early spring begins to settle into a lush, steady hum. The flowers have bloomed, the air is sweet, and the earth is in a state of radical giving. Yet, many of us are so practiced in "doing" and "clearing" that we forget how to simply be still and receive the beauty we’ve worked so hard to cultivate.

This workshop is an invitation to soften. To move out of the "hustle" and into a state of receptive presence. Together, we will explore the ritual of tea as a gateway to deep rest and a reminder that we are worthy of nourishment just as we are.

Our Focus Herb: Oatstraw
Our focus plant for the evening is Oatstraw. Known as a premier nervine, Oatstraw is like a warm hug for the nervous system. It is rich in minerals, deeply grounding, and helps to rebuild "frayed" edges. It teaches us about mellow strength, how to be resilient without being rigid. We’ll spend time with this soothing plant through tea, quiet reflection, and conversation, learning how its gentle medicine can help us stay open and receptive.

You’ll craft your own personalized tea blend from a curated selection of herbs, designed to replenish your reserves. Each participant will name their blend as a dedication to what they are choosing to welcome and receive this month.

Please bring: A journal for reflection and a small item for the community altar that represents "softness" or "plenty", a feather, a rounded stone, or a bloom from your neighborhood.

✨ This workshop is open to all. Whether you are feeling depleted or simply want to celebrate the sweetness of May, you’ll leave with a deeper connection to Oatstraw, a custom tea blend, and a renewed capacity to receive the gifts of the season.
