Kathleen Gadway - In these works, I invite viewers to step beyond the edge of the canvas and wander into a forest where light, color, and form conspire to evoke memory and presence. Rather than depicting a specific grove or landscape, I paint the feeling of being surrounded by trunks and branches—the towering verticals that both anchor and pierce the sky, the liminal spaces where foliage becomes a veil of shifting greens and golds.
