The City of Walnut Creek is in the process of preparing a Downtown Curbside Management Plan. Staff would like to get input from the downtown business owners about their challenges or challenges their customers are having with how the curb space is used. This could include parking for customers or employees, commercial loading, passenger pick-up/drop off, etc. This Plan would set data-driven standards to optimize the curb by balancing parking, loading, pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, placemaking, accessibility, safety, and equity.
