Details
Put your artistic talents to work and help Walnut Creek Downtown Association to paint six (6) pianos that will adorn the downtown streets from May to October. This community beautification project brings art and music to residents and visitors alike.
Location details: Meet in front of City Hall. Parking (paid) is at Lesher Garage (1625 Locust St.).
Ages: 11 and older (11-13 year olds with an adult)
Physical requirements: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit on ground while painting. Attention to detail and aptitude to use a stencil or free-hand draw according to a prescribed theme.
Other requirements: Please wear comfortable work clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get splattered with paint. Also wear a hat, sunscreen.
Please bring: Work gloves and personal drinking water.
