Walnut Creek Downtown Kicks Off Merchandise Fundraising Initiative Supporting Local Businesses

What: Walnut Creek Downtown (WCD) has launched an online initiative to show support for local downtown businesses during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In conjunction with the #WalnutCreekTogether campaign, we’ve created shirts and baseball caps to promote unity among Walnut Creek residents, businesses, & customers. Show your Walnut Creek pride and support local establishments as we reopen our beautiful City.

Purchase a Walnut Creek Together  tank, shirt or cap and all proceeds will directly benefit downtown recovery efforts. WCD Executive Director, Kathy Hemmenway says “Many of our downtown businesses have been hit hard by Covid-19. The Walnut Creek Together Apparel fundraiser is a way for our local businesses to generate revenue while simultaneously adding to the spirit and vitality of our community.”
