THE 8th ANNUAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION:
A Each year, Mountain Shadow Film Society supports and fosters independent filmmaking with our unique annual short film competition. This year, 15 volunteer jurors previewed 460 submissions (!) to select our 8 Finalists; who will come from all over the country to present their animated, live-action and documentary short films in person; and engage the audiences in Q&A. Audience ballots will determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place “Laurels.” There’ll even be a “Meet the Filmmakers” Reception for all attendees between the shows from 5:30 - 7:00 PM! Bring your friends. It’ll be another great show!

MONTHLY FILMS ARE FREE FOR MEMBERS. IF YOU ARE NOT YET A MEMBER, PRO-RATED MEMBERSHIP INFO AND APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE UNDER THE MEMBERSHIP TAB ON OUR WEBSITE HERE.
* NOTE: All health and safety protocols will include all attendees provide ID and proof of full vaccination, and booster. At this time, masks will also be required; subject to change in the future. We will also have four portable air purifiers in the room to enhance ventilation. Consider a pro-rated membership (below), or plan to join us under general admission!
